NateNate, or the guitarist formerly know as Aaron, and formerly known as A.J., thinks that Clell is the best bass player in the world. Although Nate knows a lot of music theory, they are all his theories and he is often baffled at the knowledge and wisdom held in Clell Tickle's head. One day, Nate too, will actually write his bio that Clell gave to him for a homework assignment way back in April of 2001................. Later, in 2002....really though. Nate is one of the most interesting people I have met. Nate is the best father in the world. He has a son and a daughter nearing their teens, and two new boys that are not old enough for school yet. Mike met Nate in Central Park. Nate is known as "that guy who plays an acoustic guitar while rollerblading" and was doing just this when he bumped into Mike who was playing Beatles songs near Strawberry Fields (Nate said he use to actually ride his Canondale bike around with no hands playing an Applause acoustic, but went through an unexpected dip that crushed the guitar into splinters). They hit it off immediately, and Mike invited him to a rehearsal. When Nate walked into the studio I immediately said "Who the hell are you?!!?!?", but he could tell I was just yanking his chain, and as a guitarist & bass player and friends, we clicked. Eventually, the three of us spent every Friday night working on songs until we had a full set, and brought on Rudy as the drummer that we knew from the 13th Street Theatre. Then Rudy's roommate, Cliff, joined as a keyboard player and guitarist and really helped to fine-tune the harmonies. Several months later, Stu, one of Cliff's buddies, sat in with us to play his harp, and the rest as they say if history……. |
